Here's a truly salty piece of work, and I mean that quite literally. This board was fished from the briney waters of The Bight right outside of Key West's infamous Schooner Wharf, and I always knew that I would do "something" with it.
Years passed, several moves were made, and the thing was almost tossed overboard more than once... not by me, you understand. Well, I finally got around to carving something. I chose "Casablanca Antique" as the font for its historic, and somewhat distressed look- a bit jagged and edgy. No, seriously... the font is like that. It wasn't me, or too much rum... or a lack of too much rum. I swear, the font made me do it!
Anyway... This scurvy looking thing made its maiden voyage to the 2009 Fort Taylor Pirate Fest in Key West which, if you have been following along, this neatly brings our story story full circle.
